Fantastic Review for David Henry Sterry’s “Master of Ceremonies”
The BEST book I’ve read this year is David Henry Sterry’s Master of Ceremonies. Sterry was the Master of Ceremonies of Chippendale’s (the male strip club) in the mid ’80s. This is really a tribute to NYC in the cash-happy ’80s and a story of what happens when there’s too much ex…cess (sound familiar?!). It’s beautifully written and a complete page-turner. Great for the beach! Plus some free content for your viewing pleasure, hopefully entice you to look at the book. - NPR’s Brian Lehrer
